That is an interesting question. If I understand this correctly, you had a portable device from the insurer added to your car, you decided you didn’t like it, and for some reason neither it nor your payments ever made it to the insurance company? You bet they’ll cancel your policy. Every insurer will cancel you for non-payment; in the auto insurance business that will nearly always result in the suspension of your registration, tags, license, or combination thereof. You will need to get a policy (either from a new company, or straighten things out with your current one) and show the State that you are again driving with legal coverage in your State.
