This prestigious national award is given to leading homebuilders for their achievements in crafting Zero Energy Ready Homes (ZERH). A home built to the DOE ZERH standard is designed to reduce energy consumption so that if a homeowner decided to add a renewable energy system, the amount of energy produced would offset the amount of energy used in that home.<\/p>\n
