I bought my first property when I was 21 years old and quite frankly, I didn&#8217;t know what I was doing, and I didn&#8217;t really have someone &#8220;holding my hand&#8221; in the process that would have saved me a lot of frustration, time, and money.<\/p>\n<p>One smart thing I did relatively early was obtain a real estate broker&#8217;s license. Not everyone is interested in about a month of schooling to get an agent&#8217;s license and then move on to the broker level, but you really don&#8217;t have to.
