NEW YORK, Sept. 21, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Greystone, a leading national commercial real estate finance company, announced Charles Di Maggio, CEO of Greystone Real Estate Advisory Group, has been named the 2026 Outstanding Public Transportation Business Member by the American Public Transportation Association (APTA), the industry’s highest honor for a business leader whose work has advanced public transportation across North America.
The award recognizes leaders who serve as role models of excellence and whose accomplishments have significantly moved the industry forward. Di Maggio and the other 2026 honorees will be recognized during the APTA Honors Ceremony on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, in Chicago, Illinois, at APTA’s TRANSform Conference and EXPO.
Di Maggio founded the Greystone Real Estate Advisory Group in 1999 and has spent more than four decades in real estate, law, and construction across the public and private sectors. Under his leadership, the group has become a national leader in managing revenue-producing properties for public transportation agencies, with a practice spanning transit-oriented development advisory, public asset disposition and acquisition, transaction analysis, brokerage, and strategic planning. He is a longtime APTA volunteer leader, having served as founding chair of the association’s Real Estate Committee and as a member of its Executive Committee and Business Member Board of Governors.
