ALBANY, N.Y., Feb. 17, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — CDPHP is proud to announce the results of a year-long, employee-driven fundraising campaign to benefit local children and families in need.
The CDPHP Charity of Choice committee recently presented a check to Northern Rivers Family of Services in the amount of $43,789. The funds, which were raised with the help of CDPHP employees, will be used to support programs and services for more than 11,000 children and families grappling with behavioral health issues or recovering from trauma, abuse, or neglect.

In addition to raising funds for Northern Rivers, employees also donated school supplies, held book drives, and volunteered their time at a camp dedicated to reuniting siblings separated through foster care.

Bennett. “This year’s campaign was especially meaningful for our staff, which developed a deep appreciation for the incredible work that Northern Rivers does for our community,” added Bennett.
Each year, the CDPHP family selects a charity of choice to benefit from a year’s worth of grassroots fundraising efforts. Since 2010, the CDPHP Charity of Choice campaign has raised more than $245,000 for local not-for-profits. This year, CDPHP employees have selected the American Heart Association of the Capital Region at the 2016 CDPHP Charity of Choice.
