HAMILTON, Bermuda, July 22, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Preparations are well underway for Latin America’s third biennial ALARYS risk-management conference in Bermuda this September, with early-bird registration and hotel rates offered via a new website (http://alarys.bm/) launched by lead sponsor Bermuda Business Development Agency (BDA).
The three-day event, to be held September 25–27 at the Hamilton Princess & Beach Club, will be opened by Premier Michael Dunkley, and will feature a full slate of speakers, including BDA CEO Ross Webber and FUNDALARYS President Jorge Luzzi. More than 150 delegates are expected for the event, geared to risk managers from throughout the Latin American region.
It will be the third time the Fundación Latinoamericana de Administración de Riesgos ALARYS (FUNDALARYS) has chosen Bermuda as host country for the trilingual conference; the Latin American Congress on Risk Management and Insurance was held previously in 2004 and 2010 in Bermuda—the only non-Latin venue in its 20-year history.
