DAYTON, OHIO, Jan. 5, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — CareSource, a nationally recognized nonprofit health plan, announces that Monalisa Mohanty has been named CareSource’s new Vice President for Pharmacy.
Mohanty joins CareSource as the health plan continues to expand its health insurance products to new states and add more health coverage options for consumers. She will be based out of the health plan’s Dayton, Ohio, headquarters.
An experienced clinician and business strategy leader, Mohanty has a background in the managed care, pharmaceutical, and pharmacy benefit management industries. Previously at Express Scripts, Mohanty was Senior Clinical Director for Health Plan Solutions. Her extensive experience also includes Humana, Pfizer, and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts.
She has a Master of Business Administration from Brandeis University/Sullivan University, a Pharmacy degree from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy, and an undergraduate degree from Michigan State University.
