AmWINS Transportation Underwriters, a managing general agency within the Underwriting division of AmWINS Group, Inc., will serve as the program administrator, while Protective Insurance will underwrite the coverage through its Protective Advantage product. The partnership will result in a highly-competitive, nationwide trucking insurance product for small trucking fleets, underwritten by an A.M. Best A+ rated insurance carrier.

Protective Insurance has been providing coverage for trucking fleets for over 85 years. Through its agency and brokerage partners, the company currently offers guaranteed cost or deductible options for fleets of 25 – 250 trucks, and a self-insured retention option for fleets of 250 trucks or more.
