Joining SRS are Michael Walseth as senior vice president, and McCall Huske as transaction coordinator, formerly of Walseth Retail Advisors of Marcus & Millichap. The NNLG was established earlier this year and offers net lease and single-tenant investment advisory services nationwide. Together with the SRS Investment Properties team in Newport Beach, there has been tremendous growth with over $1.1 billion on market in 38 states.
Walseth joins SRS with more than 20 years of commercial real estate experience. He began his career in Southern California as a retail leasing specialist at Flock & Avoyer representing shopping center owners throughout San Diego, Orange, and Riverside Counties. Soon after, he joined Archstone-Smith where he focused on acquisition and ground-up developments of Class A multifamily and retail projects throughout Southern California. There, he successfully led teams of entitlement, construction, and property management professionals during the development cycle. During his tenure at Archstone-Smith he successfully acquired, entitled, and developed properties with an estimated investment of over $2.5 billion. Most recently, Walseth was the executive broker of the Walseth Retail Advisors of Marcus & Millichap. There, he was consistently a top producer in the firm’s Newport Beach office leading a team of highly-qualified retail investment professionals specializing in the sale of multi-tenant retail properties nationwide, with a primary focus on Southern California.
Huske joins SRS having worked for the past year with Walseth and his team as a transaction and marketing coordinator. As part of SRS Investment Properties and the NNLG, she will coordinate and manage commercial real estate transactions from origination to closing, acting as a liaison between clients, brokers, lenders, escrow companies, and title companies.
